NBA - Scoop Du Jour

The right foot of Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry(notes) bothered him all last season. That didn't stop him from averaging 18.6 points and 5.8 assists per game.

He had surgery on the foot in May and now claims that it is "perfectly fine," according to CSN Bay Area. When Curry came out of a pickup game Thursday night and "began getting some treatment on his right ankle," there was some fear that he had re-injured the foot, the site notes. But Curry said it was all precautionary. "I've had a schedule for my recovery of coming back and I've been doing some high-impact workouts and I just wanted to run up and down the court a little bit," Curry said, CSN reports. "I have no limitations right now and am just pacing myself to get back to 100 percent."

Of course, now that he's close to healthy, the chances for an NBA season to start on time (if at all) have gone in a totally unhealthy direction.
