The Portland Trail Blazers enjoyed their last road trip more than the Chicago Bulls are enjoying their current one.

Back home after a 3-0 trip, Portland looks to continue its recent dominance of Chicago when the teams meet at the Rose Garden.

The Trail Blazers, who began the season by losing their first 10 road games, swept a three-game trip through Washington, Memphis and Atlanta. Following Saturday’s game, they go back on the road for three more games, at Denver, Phoenix and Utah.

Zach Randolph scored 22 points and Rasheed Wallace had 11 of his 20 in the third quarter as Portland beat Atlanta 93-85 on Thursday night.

The undefeated road trip came after the Blazers had lost six of seven.

“I said we had a chance to turn ourselves around, and that’s what we did,” Blazers coach Maurice Cheeks said.

Portland will be looking for its first four-game winning streak of the season. The Blazers have won three in a row on three previous occasions.

“It’s a momentum builder,” Derek Anderson said of the trip. “How can we sustain it? That’s the key for us.”

Chicago is 0-3 on its seven-game trip, and really hasn’t been competitive yet. After opening with a 10-point loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Bulls lost 115-99 at Denver before getting routed 101-81 by Golden State on Friday.

The Bulls have lost nine of 10 overall and seven straight on the road. At 13-34, Chicago is a half-game ahead of Orlando for last place overall in the NBA.

Portland has won nine of the last 10 meetings.
