SAN ANTONIO (TICKER) —The San Antonio Spurs try to snap a three-game home losing streak against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday when they meet for the first time at the SBC Center.

The Spurs had lost six straight games to the Bucks, including three in a row at home, before posting a 105-102 road triumph on March 11. San Antonio has not swept Milwaukee since the 1997-98 campaign.

San Antonio is three games behind Midwest Division-leading Dallas for the best record in the NBA with 13 games remaining. The Spurs are 30-7 since January 1, including a 98-89 triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday that capped a season sweep of the three-time defending champions.

Tim Duncan totaled 27 points and 17 rebounds and Tony Parker added 18 points for the Spurs, who improved to 1-1 on their five-game homestand.

The Bucks are 1 1/2 games in front of Washington for the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff berth.

Milwaukee has won two of three after losing four in a row. On Saturday, the Bucks defeated New Orleans at home, 93-85, to earn coach George Karl his 700th career victory.

Sam Cassell scored 21 points and Gary Payton added 20 for Milwaukee. The duo combined for 18 points in the fourth quarter, including the team’s final 10.
