NEW YORK (TICKER) —The Milwaukee Bucks will go for a season sweep of the New York Knicks when they visit Madison Square Garden on Sunday night.

The Bucks have lost three straight games to fall into a tie with the Washington Wizards for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Milwaukee won two home meetings against New York this season and posted a 97-88 win here on November 4.

On Saturday, the Bucks blew a 64-49 halftime and matched a franchise low with eight points in the third quarter of a 98-94 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Knicks are 3 1/2 games behind the Bucks and Wizards and have lost 12 of 20 games since the start of February.

New York comes off consecutive losses, including Friday’s 107-104 setback at Atlanta. Allan Houston led the Knicks with 28 points and Kurt Thomas added 26, nine rebounds and five blocks. But Latrell Sprewell made just 3-of-15 shots and was only 2-of-7 from the free-throw line.
