SAN ANTONIO (TICKER) —The San Antonio Spurs seek their 27th victory in 32 games when they open a three-game homestand against the Los Angeles Clippers at the SBC Center.

The Spurs, who have won four games in a row, capped a three-game road trip with a 111-99 triumph at Minnesota on Wednesday.

Stephen Jackson contributed 22 points, Tim Duncan 18 and 14 rebounds and Malik Rose 15 and 13 for the Spurs, who shot 51 percent and had six players reach double figures.

The Clippers, who have lost two in a row and 10 of 11, are coming off a heartbreaking 118-114 overtime setback at Houston on Wednesday.

With the game tied, 104-104, and 1.1 seconds left in regulation, Andre Miller was fouled and attempted two free throws. He sank the first but it was disallowed by referee Jim Clark for stepping over the line. Television replays indicated the ball went through the net before Miller went over the line. Miller missed his second attempt, and the game went into overtime.

Corey Maggette scored 29 points, Miller added 22 and 11 assists and Cherokee Parks added a season-high 18 points.

The Spurs have won two of the first three meetings between the teams this season, including a 97-84 victory here on December 12.
