OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA (TICKER) —The Golden State Warriors will try to revive their playoff hopes on Tuesday when they host the Phoenix Suns.

Golden State has lost three straight games since evening its record at 30-30 and is 3 1/2 games behind Phoenix for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Warriors, who suffered their losing streak on a road trip against Central Division opponents, have won four consecutive home games.

Phoenix has lost eight of its last 12 games, including a 105-98 setback to Minnesota on Sunday, to put its playoff aspirations in jeopardy. The Suns have the eighth and final playoff berth in the Western Conference, one game ahead of Houston.

The Warriors and Suns have split their first two meetings this season with each winning on their home court. Phoenix rode 32 points from Stephon Marbury to a 116-107 win over Golden State on February 1.

Golden State is one of just three teams in the NBA averaging over 100 points per game. The others are Sacramento and Dallas, who have the league’s two best records.
