MIAMI (TICKER) —The Utah Jazz try to extend their winning streak over the Miami Heat to five games on Monday when they continue a five-game road trip at American Airlines Arena.

The Jazz swept the 2001-02 season series against the Heat and posted a 92-76 victory at the Delta Center on January 10. They have won the last four meetings with Miami since the Heat posted an 87-80 win at Salt Lake City on November 10, 2000.

Utah has a 24-8 all-time advantage over Miami, including a 10-5 edge in games played at American Airlines Arena.

The Jazz have lost five of their last seven games and opened their road trip with a 101-77 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.

Karl Malone scored 16 points and Andrei Kirilenko and Carlos Arroyo added 11 apiece for Utah, which was held under 80 points for the fifth time this season.

The Jazz have lost four of their last five road games and are just 13-17 away from the Delta Center this season. Utah is seventh in the Western Conference, one-half game behind the Los Angeles Lakers and two in front of the Phoenix Suns.

Miami fell to 1-3 on a five-game homestand with a 98-92 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.

Rookie Rasual Butler scored 22 points and Brian Grant collected 16 and 16 rebounds for his sixth straight double-double as the Heat lost for the ninth time in 11 games.

Miami has lost three straight home games and is just 13-18 at American Airlines Center this season.
