ORLANDO, FLORIDA (TICKER) —The Orlando Magic try win a 10th straight home meeting against the Denver Nuggets when they play at the TD Waterhouse Centre on Sunday.

The Magic have won their last nine home matchups with the Nuggets since an 89-82 defeat on March 10, 1992.

Orlando had won seven of its previous nine games before falling to New York here on Friday, 111-102.

Tracy McGrady scored 37 points and rookie Drew Gooden added 19 and eight rebounds for the Magic, who allowed the Knicks to shot 53 percent. Despite the loss, Orlando is tied with Milwaukee for the final two playoff berths in the Eastern Conference.

Denver had lost 14 straight games - two shy of the franchise record - and 16 in a row on the road before defeating Miami on Saturday, 98-92.

Junior Harrington scored a season-high 19 points and fellow rookie Nene Hilario added 16 for the Nuggets, who made half of their 76 shots and improved to 4-1 when shooting at least 50 percent.

Denver last won back-to-back games on Febraury 2-4 against Memphis and Chicago. The 14-game skid began after the win over the Bulls.
