ATLANTA (TICKER) —The Atlanta Hawks try to extend their home winning streak over the Denver Nuggets to 13 games on Tuesday when the teams face each other at Philips Arena.

The Hawks have won their last 12 home games against the Nuggets, who have not won in Atlanta since December 10, 1988.

Atlanta extended its overall winning streak over Denver to four games with a 103-87 road victory on November 2. The Hawks have won 15 of the last 20 overall meetings with the Nuggets and have a 32-25 all-time advantage, including a 20-8 edge at home.

Atlanta completed a season-high seven-game road trip with a 120-93 loss at Milwaukee on Sunday.

Glenn Robinson scored 24 points and Shareef Abdur-Rahim added 22 and 12 rebounds for the Hawks, who lost five games on the trip and nine of their last 12 games overall.

Atlanta has won four of its last five home games and is 16-12 at Philips Arena this season.

Denver’s longest losing streak of the season reached 12 games with a 100-94 home loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.

Juwan Howard scored 25 points and rookie Junior Harrington added 13 for the Nuggets, who are in the midst of their longest losing streak since a 16-game slide from February 2-March 10, 1998.

Denver played its second straight game without forward Ryan Bowen, who is sidelined with a stomach muscle contusion.
