OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA (TICKER) —The Atlanta Hawks try to prevent another career game from Golden State Warriors guard Gilbert Arenas on Sunday night as they continue a seven-game road trip.

Arenas scored a career-high 37 points, including a steal and the go-ahead basket with 17 seconds left to lead the Warriors to a to a 116-113 victory in Atlanta on February 11.

The second-year guard from Arizona, has led the team in scoring three times since that win and scored all of his 14 points during final six minutes of Friday’s 111-107 home win over New York.

Antawn Jamison scored 31 points Friday as the Warriors ended a three-game losing streak.

Atlanta has split the first two games of its trip. After getting blown out at Dallas on Tuesday, the Hawks posted an 89-87 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

Theo Ratliff led Atlanta with 18 points and made a key block in the final minute, while Jason Terry added 14 and sank a clutch 3-pointer with 2:26 to play.

The win snapped a four-game road losing streak and was just Atlanta’s third in its last 21 road contests.

Golden State’s victory in Atlanta snapped its four-game losing streak in the series. A win Sunday would give the Warriors their second series sweep of the Hawks since 1982-83.
