MILWAUKEE (TICKER) —The Milwaukee Bucks hope to sweep their season series against the Dallas Mavericks when they meet on Wednesday at the Bradley Center.

The Bucks became just the second team to win in Dallas this season with a 110-107 triumph on December 30. Sam Cassell scored 28 points and Tim Thomas added 17, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 9.9 seconds left.

The Mavericks swept their two games against the Bucks last season.

Milwaukee, which is 3-2 on its season-high eight-game homestand, has won 11 of its last 14 contests, including a 97-91 victory over Seattle on Thursday.

Ray Allen scored 14 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter and Michael Redd added nine of his 15 in the final 12 minutes for the Bucks, who trailed by one after three periods.

The Mavericks have lost back-to-back games, including a 100-98 setback at Minnesota on Tuesday in the opener of a three-game road trip.

All-Star Dirk Nowitzki contributed 34 points and seven rebounds and Michael Finley added 21 points for the Mavs, who erased a 17-point third quarter but were outplayed down the stretch.

Wally Szczerbiak nailed a go-ahead jumper just before the buzzer to win the game for Minnesota.

The Mavs lost a season-high three straight games from January 15-19.
