The Wizards have won their last four meetings with the Cavaliers, including the first two games this season. Cleveland has not defeated Washington since a 94-75 victory at Gund Arena on November 27, 2001.
The Cavaliers have lost their last two visits to MCI Center, including a 107-100 defeat on November 6.
Washington had lost five of six games before posting a 109-104 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday.
Michael Jordan carried the injury-plagued Wizards with a season-high 45 points on 18-of-33 shooting in 44 minutes. Bryon Russell scored 13 points and Kwame Brown added 12 for Washington, which played without leading-scorer Jerry Stackhouse and guard Larry Hughes.
Stackhouse is sidelined with a pulled left groin and Hughes is out with a bruised left knee.
The Wizards have won three of their last four home games and are 16-10 at MCI Center.
Cleveland’s latest losing streak reached three games with a 115-95 home loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.
Cleveland has lost six straight road games and is just 3-23 away from Gund Arena this season.
