AUBURN HILLS, MICHIGAN (TICKER) —The Detroit Pistons try to continue their recent home success against the New York Knicks on Thursday when the teams meet at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Pistons have won six of the last nine meetings with the Knicks at the Palace and four of the last six overall. The teams have split a pair of games this season, with each winning on its home floor.

Detroit has won seven of 10 games since its last losing streak, but was handed an 88-85 road loss by the Miami Heat on Tuesday. Richard Hamilton scored 24 points and Chauncey Billups and Clifford Robinson added 18 apiece for the Pistons, who failed to force overtime when Jon Barry missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Detroit has lost two of its last three games at the Palace, where it is 13-4 this season.

The Knicks have lost five of their last seven games but posted a 98-86 victory over the Chicago Bulls in the finale of a home-and-home series on Tuesday.
