Fear the Beard!

The team with the most fearsome beard on the roster seems to be winning evrything. The closer for the San Francisco Giants, and that packer's offensive lineman- and now James Harden's Beard will take over and take them to the title.

I love Derrick Rose and I think he's a terrific role model for our youth and will be a great player for a very long time. However, as I look at every stat line between him and Kevin Durant, I can't believe Durant didn't win the MVP. The MVP has become too much of a popularity contest. I know Chicago had 7 more wins than OKC this year, but look how far OKC has come with KD. His first year in the league Seattle won 20 games. The next year with OKC, just 23 wins. 2 years since, he's led OKC to 50 wins and 55 wins respectively and a trip to the Western Conference Finals. No team in history has won 23 games or less and gone to the conference finals in 2 years. That is mostly credited to KD. Plus, check out the stat line between KD and D-Rose:

The only statline Rose has that is better than Durant is assists. I would hope a point guard could lead in that over a small forward. Hang in there Durant. Your a victim of playing in a small market. You are the true MVP. On and off the court.

the grizzlies were severely hampered without it's star player rudy gay, to take this series to a game 7 in the second round is beyond amazing. so for all of the thunder fans celebrating and insulting the grizz effort you should think, could the thunder go this far without durant?it's only then you can really respect what the grizz did, nuff said.

Grizzlies had a great run and should be proud of what they accomplished this year.

If it is such a win win proposition why have cities who built the NBA paradise arenas going bankrupt? They want taxpayers to build it and they still are bankrupt! Let the NBA build there own arenas and come up with a better buisiness plan. After the NBA left for OKC Stern then said a modified or remodled Key Arena would be fine with him. There is knothing wrong with Key Arena it is not at all a delapitated building other parts of the country are led to believe, it had been gutted lowered 30' and was a totally new building just eight years before and paid for by the taxpayers. The metro area here has 4.5 million people we honestly do not need the NBA hear and have had enough of David Stern and his antics and the NBA would have to court this area before anyone in any majority would ever agree to let them come back!

The Thunder are much more than a two-man team...ALL of the team deserve credit for the win...Nick Collison is never given the credit he deserves. He is a true leader, sacrificing personal glory for the sake of a team win. Kevin Durant certainly leads the team but all the guys are great and know what teamwork produces.

theres no way thunder should have won series but thanks to dave stern they helped thunder in pivitol game to win and not to go down 3-1. David stern needs to be fired games are refed so bad its sick this is so he can control outcomes. I dont like either team and didnt care who won but call them like I see them.

About time Westbrook stopped hogging the ball. He should have been passing the @#$%' ball to Durant a long time ago.
