F Al Thornton also could not get anything going on offense against Indiana Wednesday after lighting up the Minnesota Timberwolves for 31 points on Monday. Thornton settled for jump shots instead of taking his defender to the basket, and had a couple of shots blocked by Indiana's Josh McRoberts and Roy Hibbert after picking up his dribble. He ended up 2-for-15 for five points. |

Thornton scored 31 points to help the Los Angeles Clippers beat Minnesota 91-87 Monday night, extending the Timberwolves' losing streak to 13 games. Advice: It was the second 30-point game in the last four for Thornton, who has bounced back from a very slow start to average 21.8 points and shoot 58.8 percent from the field in his last five games. |
