Recommendation: Oden has been working out with Blazers assistant coach Bill Bayno for over a week, stressing conditioning, balance and offensive footwork. Grant worked as a defender in drills to get Oden accustomed to the constant banging that goes down in the paint. So far, so good as Bayno gave Oden an "A-plus" for his efforts. Being healthy and able to workout for an entire summer for the first time since being drafted should help Oden improve on what has been a disappointing start to his career.
