Udoka was signed to a non-guaranteed contract by the Kings on Thursday, the Sacramento Bee reports. Recommendation: Udoka will take over Francisco Garcia's intended role. Coach Paul Westphal wants to use him at the shooting guard and small forward position. Udoka has traditionally been used as a defensive player, but he could see increased fantasy value as a member of the young and struggling Kings. Andres Nocioni was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving Thursday morning which could give Udoka a bigger role than initially planned. |

The Sacramento Kings signed swingman Ime Udoka to a contract on Wednesday. The team did not release terms of the deal. Advice: Udoka spent the preseason with Portland before being waived last month. He has averaged 6.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game in his five-year career. Udoka has played 227 games for the Los Angeles Lakers, New York, Portland and San Antonio. |
