The Grizzlies traded Richardson to the Clippers for Zach Randolph, the Los Angeles Daily News reports. Recommendation: While it doesn't look like an even swap on paper, the Clippers needed to create room for No. 1 overall pick Blake Griffin. And they were able to get an expiring contract in Richardson. |

G Quentin Richardson, acquired on draft night from the Knicks for C Darko Milicic, will be traded to the Clippers on July 8 in exchange for F Zach Randolph, who's owed $33.3 million over the next two seasons, but averaged 20.8 points and 10.1 rebounds last season and can improve the Grizzlies' frontcourt production. |
