G Quentin Richardson continues to solidify his position in the starting lineup. His rebounding is particularly impressive for a player of his size. He finished with 13 points and nine rebounds against Denver. |

Richardson played in 241 games over the previous four seasons with the New York Knicks, winning a mere 81 of those contests. Throughout that tenure, he was involved in a run of five-wins-in-six-games only twice. Advice: Starting this season 5-1, it's been a long time coming for the former 1st-round pick. Perhaps the biggest surprise within Miami's eye-catching 5-1 start, Richardson is averaging 10.5 points and 5.8 rebounds while shooting nearly 50 percent. |

Richardson had 19 points (7-of-10 FG) with five 3-pointers and nine rebounds in 43 minutes in Wednesday's win over Washington. Recommendation: Without Daequan Cook (shoulder), Richardson is getting more playing time and has 37 points and 19 rebounds in the last two games. Cook is out indefinitely and coach Erik Spoelstra isn't using James Jones, so Richardson should see plenty of opportunities. |
