He said he is in good health, was working out and will be available to play this season despite reports he was ready to retire. The Suns can go in three different directions with Wallace: keep him, trade his cap slot or buy him out. |

The Cavaliers agreed Wednesday night to a trade that will send Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to the Suns in exchange for Shaquille O'Neal, ESPN.com reports. The deal is expected to be finalized on Thursday. Recommendation: From the Phoenix point of view, the only motivation for this move was to clear salary space. The Suns will save close to $10 million when all is said and done, and it could be even more if Wallace, who is contemplating retirement this offseason, decides to call it a career. |
