Camby left Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies in the first quarter with a lower back contusion and did not return, the Associated Press reports. Recommendation: We recommended praying to the injury gods in our last Camby update, but apparently that strategy is ineffective, as he was hurt just one day later. We don't yet know the severity of this injury, or whether Camby's status for Friday's game is in jeopardy. If he misses time, DeAndre Jordan could be headed for an increase in playing time. |

F Marcus Camby made two consecutive hustle plays in the second quarter in a game filled with hustle plays for the big man, who finished with just four points but added five assists and 14 rebounds. He rushed to the center of the paint and tipped in a missed shot, then got back down court and dove for a loose ball, gaining possession with the Clippers down nine points. |
