• Bruins clinch No. 7 seed over Flyers based on 6 points to 4 advantage in head-to-head games (if Flyers get a point). Bruins face Canadiens in first round.
• Flyers are No. 8 seed regardless of whether game goes to OT. Flyers again face Penguins in first round.

If Flyers win:

• Teams will face each other in first round. Winner of Sunday's game has home ice (if Devils lose in OT, Rangers win tiebreaker based on 16 points to 4 advantage in head-to-head games).

If Wild win in regulation:
• Flames clinch No. 6 seed and face No. 3 Wild in first round.
• Avalanche are No. 7 seed and face No. 2 Sharks in first round.

If Avalanche get a point:
• Avalanche clinch No. 6 seed and again face No. 3 Wild in first round (if Avalanche win in OT, Avalanche win tie with Flames based on more victories).
• Flames are No. 7 seed and face No. 2 Sharks in first round.
• Avalanche cannot pass Stars for No. 5 seed because they trail in goal differential, plus-33 to plus-11.
