Heat sign Beverley to 2-year deal

The Miami Heat have signed guard Patrick Beverley(notes) to a two-year, $1.2 million contract, his agent Kevin Bradbury told Yahoo! Sports.

Beverley was selected 42nd overall in the second round of the 2009 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers before his rights were traded to Miami. The former Arkansas guard spent last season playing in Greece.
