Top NBA Daily Stats Leaders for Tuesday, March 13, 2012: Fan’s Review

Here's a look at the best single-game performers in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks on Tuesday, March 13, 2012.

Points: Andrew Bynum, Los Angeles Lakers - 37 points

Although it took two overtime periods to reach it, Bynum had a season-high 37 points against the Memphis Grizzlies. In 49 minutes, Bynum went 15 of 18 from the field and seven of eight from the free throw line. Other leading scorers of the day include Kobe Bryant and Joe Johnson with 34 points each and Josh Smith with 33 points.

Rebounds: Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic - 25 rebounds

After tying a season-high 25 rebounds against the Miami Heat, Howard announced that he wanted to spend the rest of the season with the Magic. In 47 minutes, four of Howard's 25 rebounds were on the offensive end. Other leading rebounders of the day include Bynum with 16 rebounds and three players (Josh Smith, Zaza Pachulia, and Shawn Marion) with 13 rebounds apiece.

Assists: Mike Conley, Memphis Grizzlies - 11 assists

In double-overtime against the Lakers, Conley recorded his seventh double-double of the season. In 51 minutes, Conley also contributed to the Grizzlies' loss to the Lakers with 10 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Other leading passers of the day include John Wall with 10 assists and four players (LeBron James, Pau Gasol, Jeff Teague, and Andre Miller) with eight assists each.

Steals: Alonzo Gee, Cleveland Cavaliers - 4 steals

Gee has picked up the pace in this category and helped his team win four straight games with 2.1 steals a game in March. Other leading stealers of the day include 11 players such as Ty Lawson, Paul George, and Jason Kidd with three steals each.

Blocks: JaVale McGee, Washington Wizards and Samuel Dalembert, Houston Rockets - 3 blocks

While McGee blocked the shots of Shawn Marion, Brendan Haywood, and Jason Terry, Dalembert blocked the shots of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Nazr Mohammed. Other leading shot blockers of the day include 12 players like Dwyane Wade, Nene HIlario, and Serge Ibaka with two blocks apiece.
