Portland Trail Blazers at Boston Celtics, March 9, 2012: Fan Preview

The Boston Celtics were on a roll, and it looked like they were turning their recent struggles around. That was until they suffered an embarrassing 103-71 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night.

"We just didn't have it, honestly. Nothing was working. Give them credit. They were very organized and we were not. I didn't think we had great will tonight to fight through it." Stated coach Doc Rivers after the brutal loss to Philadelphia.

Perhaps the win the night before against the Houston Rockets in addition to traveling wore them down.

Boston will have a good opportunity to rebound when the Portland Trail Blazers come to town. Portland has been struggling on the road this season, and has won just four of their last 10 games.

Regardless of their struggles this season, Portland is still a solid team that should not be taken lightly. While the Celtics will have a day of much needed rest and the home court advantage, they will still need to pick up their game if they expect a win on Friday night.
