Los Angeles Clippers Schedule: Week of Feb 13-19

There are some important games coming up for the Los Angeles Clippers over the next week. Three of the four games for the Clippers come against teams that look destined to make the 2012 Western Conference Playoffs. It begins on Monday night (Feb. 13), against a really tough Dallas Mavericks team that has been getting better in recent weeks. The team has a lot of momentum after knocking off the Portland Trail Blazers in a double-overtime game on Saturday (Feb. 11) as well.

The Clippers play those same Blazers on Thursday night (Feb. 16), making it the third game in three nights for Portland. That is tough for any team and it's a great chance for the Clippers to take advantage of the situation and get another boost in the Western Conference standings. It all leads up to a great showdown with the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 18) that could possibly determine which team is sitting as the No. 2 seed in the West at the end of the week.

This is a great week for the Clippers to prove that they are indeed one of the elite teams in the East and a sweep through these teams would definitely make a bold statement. As the teams start to bunch together in the middle of the West standings, this is actually a big chance for the Clippers to make some noise and start to pull away from the pack.
