LeBron Among Cavs Hit By the Flu; Team Does Not Know If It's H1N1
LeBron James(notes) is among a group of Cleveland Cavaliers who have tested positive for Influenza A, according to Cleveland.com. It is unclear whether the star has H1N1, better known as swine flu, but the team will treat it as such, according to a spokesperson from the team.
There seem to be conflict reports about who else is suffering from the flu on the Cavs' roster. Brian Windhorst, the Plain Dealer's beat writer, wrote on Twitter that guard Andre Barrett(notes) and forwards Jawad Williams(notes) and J.J. Hickson(notes) were also infected. Cleveland.com, the internet outlet for the Plain Dealer has different information that Darnell Jackson(notes) and Coby Karl(notes) are among the infected. Windhorst reports a total of six players are on the injury report because of the flu, so it is possible all six names could be linked with the infection.
Windhorst reports James is probable for the game against the Spurs on Friday.
