Allen Iverson: Not Pleased With Bench Role
Update: Iverson reiterated his unhappiness with his bench role after Wednesday’s loss to the Warriors, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Recommendation: Coach Lionel Hollins must have anticipated this, as he said before the game that Iverson would remain the team’s third guard behind Mike Conley(notes) and O.J. Mayo(notes). Iverson outscored both of the younger players 18 to eight and 14 respectively, so it’s hard to imagine Iverson not starting at some point. But he would probably land back on the bench if/when the team goes into rebuilding mode.

How many teams has he led to the finals?
He doesn't seem to enhance any teams chances with his play. All he does is match the other team
shot for shot, all by himself, whether he makes 'em or not; never mind the other four players on his team.
Sit down and accept your new role!
