Nate Robinson: Likely to Return Friday

Update: Robinson (ankle) did not play in Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks, but is likely to return Friday against Golden State, Newsday reports.

Recommendation: Toney Douglas is starting to emerge for the Knicks, so it will be interesting to see how coach Mike D’Antoni distributes the playing time once Robinson returns. Newsday suggests the Knicks might use Douglas and Robinson together in the backcourt for one game at least. We’ll keep a keen eye on how the minutes shake out because it’s becoming clear that whoever is getting minutes in D’Antoni’s fast-paced offense is capable of posting strong fantasy numbers.
