Celtics trade Perkins for Green

The Boston Celtics have reached an agreement in principle to trade Kendrick Perkins(notes) to the Oklahoma City Thunder for forward Jeff Green(notes) and center Nenad Krstic(notes), league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Thunder also will receive guard Nate Robinson in the trade.

The Thunder also have made a separate deal with the Charlotte Bobcats, acquiring center Nazr Mohammed for D.J. White and Mo Peterson.

The Celtics pared down their roster – and payroll – by sending center Semih Erden and Luke Harangody to the Cavaliers for a second-round pick.
