Pistons call up Dinwiddie, Datome from D-League

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP)—The Detroit Pistons have recalled guard Spencer Dinwiddie and forward Luigi Datome from the team’s NBA Development League affiliate in Grand Rapids.

Dinwiddie, drafted 38th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft, has appeared in eight games for the Pistons this season, averaging 3.0 points and 12.4 minutes per game.

Datome is in his second season with Detroit. He’s averaged 2.6 points and 1.3 rebounds in 35 career NBA games.

The Pistons host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night.
