Wade gets 10,000th career point

MIAMI (AP)—Dwyane Wade(notes) topped 10,000 points for his career in the Miami Heat’s game against the Chicago Bulls.

Wade, already the Heat all-time scoring leader and last season’s NBA scoring champion, made a free throw with 1:32 left in the third quarter Sunday. He entered the game 20 points shy of the mark.

He’s the 43rd active player to top the 10,000-point plateau.

    Wade is the man. Anyone see that behind the back move he had tonight? Just brilliant. I can't think of anyone in the league that could pull that off. By far better than Lebron James. And although James may have been faster to 10,000 points, Wade has a ring. Something Lebron will only see on TV.
