The Celtics can pick up all the role players they want, but can they mesh together like the Lakers team have? Also, Great pick up with Artest, not just for his game and stellar defense, but to punk them Celtics and flex some muscle. I see Artest *itch slapping Pierce or Garnett next season. FIRST OF ALL, IT WONT BE THE LAKERS VERSUS THE MAGIC IN THE FINALS AGAIN. That happened, let it go.
Secondly, Boston is going to be worse than last year and look for a lot of trades made in February 2010. Garnett is not going to fully recover or he's going to reinjure himself. Doc's job is going to be on the line. Last year, there was only one person that ruined it for the Celts and that was Garnett. This season, he's going to be trying too hard and he's going to get frustrated that he's now a year older and missed basically the entire season. Get ready for the Celtics to fall apart. On top of that, Rondo's true self will be identified that he's only just as good as Steve Blake of the Portland Trailblazers. Big Baby will become a man when he finally stands up to Garnett and there are going to be fights. Garnett's injury will resurface but only because he got jumped in the locker room and beat down. damn they are smart, building up a very versatile and age-wise balanced team.....i can see them resting the big three on those "garbage nights" and letting these guys do work......daniels isnt bad, he's just a less explosive josh howard and i think he was still w/ the mavs when the gave the title to the heat...cavs and magic depth don't even touch the depth the c's have....now the c's just have to teach more than 5(perk, kg, pierce, rondo, house) ppl how to play defense and in house's case how to draw a foul instantly when you get pimp-slapped.....c's comin out the east but it wont be easy, i see some of the lesser east teams(tor, phi, atl) makin some noise in the playoffs this yr.....oh damn i forgot they had rasheed, never mind c's takin the east easy

how many minutes do you think the celtics has to play all theses players? to be a good player, you have to play a lot of minutes. the more you play the better you becomes. the less you play the less you will do well. take kobe and give him few minutes to play on the lakers he will not be as effective as if he plays all the time.it's not about accumulating players. it is about having very good palyers at every position. not 3 players at the same position and some of them not even playing. how much is enough? they can accumulate every player in the nba if they want only few of them will play and quiet a few of them will be seating on the bench. isnt that why vlade radmavich was traded because he was complaning of not having minutes to play.

this is a solid pick up. I think the Celtics has more than enough to win a championship. Health is a concern for any team. If your superstar goes down, so does your chances at a 'ship. The C's are deep. Sheed is still a threat. I see the bench getting a lot of playing time during the season. A veteran squad with age providing for ultimate fundamentals and knowledge of the game.

First off for my boy Marquise D. War Damn Eagle, them Auburn boys dont stop. Great pick up for the Celtics. I love the fact that people keep calling them old men. This team is just off the chain thats what they are. Rondo, R. Allen, Pierce, KG, Big Perk. Those are your starters then you got House, Daniels, Williams, Davis, and Sheed. OMG the rest is history.
