Last night I dreamt of being healed by a shaman. I awoke in some den or cave and when I tried to get up, I couldn't. My back was in excruciating pain. But before I could cry out for help, a tall man dressed in a black and silver overcoat suddenly appeared beside me. Without haste, he sprinkled what appeared to be oregano on my lower back and then mumbled something in Spanish. Immediately, I stood up. My healer? Manu Ginobili. Odd.

    I'm a big fan of the NBA and world sports. I thought Manu deserved Sports Man of the year in 2006 when his teams won both the NBA title and the World Basketball title. It seemed he got little consideration because he is not from the US and not an advertising icon. Good to see him getting some press here. Manu is a class act and the Spurs, as they know, are lucky to have him.

    1-Every one knows Kobe cannot win without Shaq
    2-Are Lakers fans SERIOUSLY talking about next year already, shouldn't you people still be sulking in shame after this years meltdown
    3-What about those Celtics?
    4-Kobe back to back? Not after his choke show in the ship, he'd have to do some pretty amazing stuff
    5-Do not sleep on those Trail Blazers, they made some genious moves in the draft and now have Bayless and Oden stepping up for them, not too shabby

    Kobe might have a chance next year !!! but remember there are so many other great team................ we are talking bout SPURS/DETROIT/CELTIC/HEAT/PORTLAND/PHOENIX (Without Mike they do have a chance)
