We'll have your "Celtics visit White House" Create-a-Cap photo up in about an hour — apparently it's BDL Celtics Day today — but until then, here's a short clip of President Bush welcoming Kendrick Perkins and the NBA Champion Boston Celtics to The White House on Friday. I still get a kick out of watching Dubya dribble his words.
Hand delivered by Paul Pierce, the organization presented the president with a green Celtics jersey emblazoned with "43," a nod to Bush's standing as the 43rd president, and an autographed ball. The team also said it would send a $100,000 check to the Red Cross to help victims of Hurricane Ike. Classy move.
