On Tuesday, we presented BDL Photoshop wizards an opportunity to exercise their imagination and ingenuity by "tattooing" the other side of Stephon Marbury's head. The contest was judged by a panel of one (me), who based decisions on one key criteria: pure hilarity. Here are the "winners," but thanks to everyone who took the time to send one in.

"Death Starbury" by Justin
Justin explains: "A little more complicated than a five-pointed star, the Death Starbury is exactly like Steph's mind, presenting accuracy in the fact that its contents will remain under construction for the foreseeable future. Also like its namesake, the Death Starbury has one massive weakness ... sanity (the target area is only two meters wide — it's a small thermal exhaust port right below the main port)."

However, "Italia" is genius, plain and simple. Well played, sir. Well played.

Props to everybody, but yeah Casbury rules.

He needs to be bought out & cut entirely. The Knicks will never move on with an anchor like him attached, & I'm doubting any other GM wants anything to do with "Starbury."

Is it his fault he played with a young and timid Kevin Garnett who disappeared in playoff games and was content to watch Step[h try and take over? Is it his fault he played on absolutely horrible basketball teams in New Jersey and New York? Is it his fault he was traded for Steve Nash after leading the Suns to an improbable playoff birth and scaring the Spurs half to death, only to watch Amare, Marion and the like blossom into real ballers later. NO!
You think Steph wouldn't have led the Celtics to a title last year had he been running the point instead of Rondo? You think Steph couldn't have won a couple of titles had he been in Tony Parker's position? You think he couldn't have been a 3-peat champion instead of Derrick Fisher had he been balling with Kobe and Shaq? Of course he would have!
If Mike D'Antoni is dumd enough to consider Chris Duhon an upgrade over a potential 20/8 fearless PG, he's crazier then I thought.
If the Knicks buy-out Steph he has quite a few good situations he could jump into in Boston (get ready for a 2nd straight EC title bean-town), Denver (He and AI would drive defenses nuts), Golden State (he could put up "Starbury" stats, but that team isn't winning a title anytime soon), Toronto (He could be a great combo guard in that system and win 6th man of the year easily), Indiana (He could put up big stats and lead them to the playoffs, but a 1st round exit is still the best they could do) and Miami (he could lead them back to the playoffs).
Stephon Marbury should be remembered as a PG who put up unbelievable stats, was a fearless assasain on the court, played for horrible teams and had a questionable attitude ... that would be a realistic rating ... but as-is he is actually incredibly under-rated as the guy is talked about like he's a Smush Parker or Carlos Arroyo or somthing ... it's ridiculous!
By the way this "a player sucks unless he's a winner" mentality is the most ridiculous thing in all of sports.
Was A.C. Green better then Barkley? No? How about Ron Harper better then Clyde Drexler? No? What about Robert Horry; was he a better basketball player then even Derrick Coleman (a so-called cancer and me-first player)? NO!
The same can be said in football and the perfect example is Barry Sanders.
"Winners" play on great TEAMS, great players just happen to play where they are drated or traded!
