Video of the Day: 'Machine' and Kobe are 'besty friends'

I have good news and bad news. The good news: today marks the return of Ball Don't Lie's favorite robotic son, Sasha 'The Machine' Vujacic. You remember the Machine, I'm sure. He's the recently re-signed Lakers guard who likes to camp, shoot and sing — in no particular order. And, as we learn today, he's also "besty friends" with Kobe.

As for the bad news, that was much too short. Excellent work as always, Lakers-fan.

    saint hippo ur an idiot he is one of the best shooters in the league. If Lakers dont win its because they have inconsistent big men who disappear when the pressure is on. Did you watch the finals??? Do you watch basketball???

    hey folks until the lakers get rid of cupchak odom and walton they will not get to the finals next year period you have seen boston buy a championship ( RIGHT) now look at the trades that cupchak has made over the years, just go back and check them out . my guess is he has to be blackmailing jerry buss for blowing out his bum knee when he was playing for the lakers. before you coment do your homework go back and check kobie had to force him to get gosel and look at the butler trade and shack trade just for starters then go back and look at the other B. S. DEALS.

    err...scotty. the lakers got to the finals this year with both those players AND without Bynum. If anything, they have an even better chance of making it to the finals this year, even with the exact same team.

    I am a full on LAKER'S fan. Vujacic need to land his spaceship!!! His nickname should be "the slug" not "the machine". Hitting shots in practice, showing up once every five game is not enough consistancy to nickname yourself anything. Then his defense consists of watching people drive by him, crying to the ref's and the flopping. Only validates him of being "a legend in his own mind" Sasha find an american dictionary find the word "humility" and try to add more of that to your game. Before you start with your chest pounding.

    I agree with Skeets concerning Skeets. You do suck and should be fired. That added B.S you had to put into the recent Barkley blog was uncalled for and shows what type of bottom dwelling person you must be. Get a life, maybe a real job. I do not see why yahoo allows your nonsense and maybe with enough viewers expressing this feeling to yahoo, you won't be for long. About Sasha, maybe he can now afford some speach lessons and learn to talk some english. This is a good move for the lakers and do feel this will help them compete in the west again. Do feel that the hornets are right on there heals as well as the jazz and cannot rule out the spurs and sun's. The spurs are getting old and the suns have been screwing up with the addition of Shaq and the ill-advised move of letting coach go. Kerr is ruining the sun's chances of making it to the finals and they are my favorite team. But really, who cares right now. Baseball is winding down and football is about to get underway, and with that I wil close with....Go Dodgers and Go Raiders.

    If Sasha keeps on improving the way he did these past consecutive years then he should be worth it. Might even have a chance of becoming the 4th or 3rd scoring option for the Lakers. Go Lakers!

    Yes I'm a Lakers fan and yes I'm from Massachusetts.
    It is great to have Sasha back. The guy sets a single season team record percentage for three pointers. The Lakers have had some great three point shooters too. I was worried that they would not try too hard to get Sasha back I glad he his. He shows great effort and heart every night out and I'll take a guy who leaves it all on the floor. I believe the Lakers have one roster spot free now with Ronny going to Golden State can't wait to see who will fill the spot.
