Ball Don't Lie - NBA

Ten days ago, at NBA All-Star Jam Session in Dallas, Dwight Howard(notes) etched his name into the record books by hitting the longest basketball shot while sitting down. After nailing one from half-court, Howard scooted back to 52 feet and six inches, swished that, and accepted his official Guinness Book of World Records certificate from some guy in a funny sports jacket.

Tuesday, that certificate unofficially changed hands.

Via Magic beat writer Tania Ganguli and pinstriped video gurus, watch as Howard's Magic teammate Vince Carter hits an 85-foot shot sitting down to win a heated post-practice competition.

Someone try and tell me this shouldn't be an Olympic sport.
