Video: Top 10 plays of November

November has come and gone, and the time for flashier, more dramatic highlights is here. But while we welcome December basketball into our hearts, let's not forget to give thanks to the cold November reign. From Kobe to LeBron to Durantula, it's everyone you'd expect to see in NBA TV's Top 10 plays of the month.

Goodbye, sweet November. Do write.

When will Kobe get the respect he deserves? I know that he is considered the best player in the world, and has been for a long time. But despite this, I STILL think he is UNDERRATED! I know, I know, a lot of you will hate me for this. But speaking as an NBA fan, the sport will not be the same when he is gone. I think most people still take Kobe for granted. It doesn't help that he has kind of a strange personality. But we're not talking psychology, we're talking ball, and the fact is no one comes close to touching Kobe. Lebron is definitely not inheriting the throne. He is an exciting player, but no Kobe. In the end, and I really do believe this, there will be two people: Jordan and Kobe.
The fact is, there hasn't been anyone that can do what they did, and are doing. It's time people realize that.
    Ps. First!

Glad to see the Raptors make it at #1. I was worried they'd be nudged out by mundane Suns footage.

2 of the 10 were from Portland. Soon, it will be all 10. One day Greg Oden is going to eat somebody's arm off.

ridiculous . . . that highlight of rose dunking was not even HIS best highlight of november. but still . . . my main complaint is that utah has 106 dunks (a lot of them filthy), which is good for 2nd best in the NBA for november -- but no highlights in the Top 10. nice, NBA. nice.

Wow, Hubs, you used the words in his article against him in a clever reversal that showed your displeasure with his quality writing and sense of humor! Well done! I look forward to your continued insightful commentary in the future.
Also, there's nothing wrong with using ebonics, but when was the last time KD used any, much less "promoted" it? If anything, he'd seem to promote awkward usage of British slang.

Was #4 a joke? That was a rather ordinary play. So was Matt Barnes' jumper. It wasn't a buzzer beater, there were still 25 seconds left in the game.
As a fellow Jazz lover I would say that the dunks by Brewer and Miles in the first quarter of the game against the Nets the other night were just ridiculous and should have been right up in the top 5.
At least they got #1 and #2 correct.

Running full speed away from the hoop, turning, elevating straight up without fading and nailing a game winning three, at the buzzer, 8 feet behind the line is ordinary?
WTF kind of basketball do you watch?

Hey JK...they probably haven't seen Matt Barnes making a 3 point shot....and Shaq with a dunk...so they have the Top 10.

The whole time I was wondering where that Carter dunk was. He deserved the #1. That Shaq one was lame, and only there because of the record. Also, #5 isn't fair, because the Suns don't play defense.

#15 - #12 here. Sorry for any confusion, I was referring to play #4 as being ordinary, not post #4. Play 4 was Shaq in slow motion. If you read the rest of my post it's clear that I think plays #2 and #1 were correct. Roy's shot and Carter's dunk were both spectacular. I'd go with Carter over Roy, but just barely. Shaq's wobble and Barnes' wide open jumper? Not so much.

They can't choose a play from D-Wade, or this might just be a D-Wade top 10...

    #2 Posted by Nicodemus,
What are you talking about? Kobe gets no respect? He won the MVP last year when he wasn't even the best player in terms of stats and impact on his team.....It should have been paul......only reason kobe got it was he should have won the mvp the year Dirk did....the sports writers felt guilty about their past mistake!
Don't even compare Kobe to Jordan.....Jordan has won more hardware the Kobe ever will. Kobe never even won a finals MVP or a championship as the leader or even leading scorer of his team. Plus, comparing Kobe to Jordan is saying Kobe is the second best player of all time.....I got news for you he's NOT even close to second.....he's lucky if he ends up in the top 5 when its all said and done.
