Former Celtics player and coach Tommy Heinsohn has never been shy about letting the refs know exactly how he feels, and in today's "call-everything-that-annoys-you" world of NBA technicals, it was only a matter of time before the Hall of Famer went off. For those of you who had Oct. 13 in the office pool, congrats.
Following a needless technical on a slightly bemused-but-respectful Jermaine O'Neal(notes), the refs gave O'Neal's teammate Kevin Garnett(notes) two quick ones, just seconds after declining to give Amar'e Stoudemire(notes) a whistle for a reaction that was a bit more inflammatory.
It was, in a word ... well, you'll see.
