Video: Spinnin' Beno Udrih sends Kobe to the floor

Nothing you haven't figured out by now, but most NBA fans fall into one of two camps: those who love Kobe Bryant and those who absolutely detest him. So, after watching Beno Udrih cross-spin Kobe out of shorts this past weekend, you're probably going to say either, "Big deal, Beno pushed him, it happens to the best of 'em" or, "HA! KOBE SUX! HE'S SO OVERRATED! HE CAN'T PLAY DEFENSE!" Which camp do you belong to?

    Lies by all of the above commenters. I'm definitely a staunch supporter of Kobe, but even the best can't be the best all the time, especially in an Oct. preseason game. Kobe got straight worked right there, and you know how I know it was a legit play? Because Kobe just ran back on offense without saying a word. He was embarrassed, and normally he's be yelling up a storm to the officials. Beno got him on that one, and you can be sure his teammates gave him hell after the game for it.
    If I were Beno, I'd frame that animation and put it on my wall.

    @Sky P......Preseason is preseason. If your such a "staunch Kobe supporter"...you would know Kobe barks on almost every single call (in a regular Season game) when he's on the offensive end. He'll drive the lane, try to draw the foul, and usually yells, "AYE!" or "HEY!" to let the refs know he got fouled. Besides he ain't gonna be playing that hard or be arguing so much over a discrete play/call, especially in a PRESEASON game. I agree with you. If I were Beno, I would frame that. That's the only accomplishment he'll ever have in his NBA career. Better make the most of it.

    Kobe has shaken kids out of their pants before. Beno is a talented guard, and he happened to get the better of Kobe on that play. People make people fall. Too bad Kobe has an MVP and three rings under his sleeves, and Mr. Udrih just has this. I don't understand why this one play makes all the world to people.

    something is different.. haha usually there's 300 post by now about how kobe sux.. but on this video i had to be "ooo!" because Beno got kobe..happens top best of them.. one time i block a jump shot from a 6'6 player before and I'm short 5'6 .. crazy things happens on the floor once and awhile

    This post would generate more hype if 90% of Kobe knew that the NBA season is right around the corner and people are playing pre-season games. They won't start paying attention until ESPN starts showing highlights so right around Christmas, when the NFL is winding down.

    kobe got straight up embareassed. it doesnt matter if its tha preseason. and for all tha kobe fans who are gonna say he got pushed, that was a weak push so he might need to hit tha weight room. or stop flopping.

    So, pro-Kobe posters are well-spoken, and anti-Kobe posters are nearly illiterate? Can we not but say that Kobe is quite the basketball player, and quite otherwise a questionable person?

    Im a lakers nd kobe fan and i aint gonna admit kobe got his ankles broken. that was sick a move by udrih. u cant always look good all the time. and 4 the ppl that think so ur way over ur head nuthin personal

    Kobe didn't get broke there if you FREAKING IDIOTS would just STOP HATING for FIVE SECONDS and watch me USE CAPITALS to MAKE MY POINT, you'd see kobe's laces were undone and he clearly stumbles over them, not the nearby spin move. Kobe is incapable of getting his ankles broke, its an impossibility.
