Ron Artest was interviewed by TNT's Craig Sager on Wednesday after Rockets practice, and, as expected when you stick a microphone and bright colors in his face, the freestylin' Houston forward spewed some instant quotables.
You get all that? In less than 90 seconds, crazy Ron-Ron claims Brandon Roy is a better basketball player than Kobe or LeBron — "and outside of a guy from my hood from Queensbridge," probably the best — Hall of Famer Charles Barkley was "overrated," and Michael Jordan wants a time machine. Or something like that. I wasn't paying much attention.
Seriously, despite the Interweb's best efforts, none of what Ron said above really means a damn thing. Nothing. It's just hilarious hot air. Why? Because Ron Artest is a talker. He'll have changed his opinions on everything he said to Sager by this time tomorrow. That's how he rolls. Drive, think of a word that rhymes with "Scola," pull over, record a track. "Boom! There's my exit! Next song!"
