Ball Don't Lie - NBA

From the same professional basketball league that brought you Paul Pierce's Hail Mary, Dwight Howard's 75-footer and Devin Harris' fumblin' buzzer beater comes LeBron James' new trick shot — an underhand half-court-and-change swish. Watch and learn, kids. Watch and learn.

Um, yeah, I think I'll just take the "H," thanks.

You know, LeBron has already committed to next year's Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. What do you think it'll take to get him to shoot for TNT's tacky toy H-O-R-S-E trophy, as well? I'll start the donation pot with a crisp Canadian $20. Who doesn't love a little extra funny money for those impromptu trips to Winnipeg?

MJC / Zedeyeen — No Photoshop on that HORSE trophy, I kid you not. I couldn't believe it either. Sort of hilarious.

#12, you obviously have no idea what LBJ does as a player - he made a full court shot from under the other basket IN A GAME two seasons ago, you know, the same season he got all that media attention for single-handedly willing his team to the Finals. Maybe you should actually watch the man play basketball before you spout off.
    GO CAVS! Welcome back Delonte!

btw #16 lebron single handedly willed his team through one of the weakest conferences in history and then got crushed in the finals against the spurs....

This is wack now. What's next, D-Wade bouncing a shot off his head from the cheap seats? NBA players need to stick to doing things normal people can't do (like dunking on a 12' rim). Anyone with a pulse can go to their local gym and throw up half court shots. Take enough shots and one is bound to go in.

surely this means that Bron is the best there is? where's kelly... right, kelly? i mean, no more doubting his shooting ability. Kobe has nothing on this guy. Bron should consider throwing his name in the 3pt Shootout....

#12: Do you mean he's jumping on the underhanded half court shot making bandwagon? I'm pretty sure you can't just jump on that bandwagon. You have to make a half court shot. Underhanded.

Being a Cavs fan and watchin their games everyday, I can surely say that Lebron's shooting is greatly underrated. Sure, he struggled from 3 at the beginning of the season, but he's shooting 49% from the floor, and those don't all come from layups and dunks. Lebron is still not as great a shooter as Kobe, but still is better overall. Another reason Lebron's stats aren't so high is because he never even plays the fourth quarter! 9 games now where he hasn't even stepped on the court in the 4th!
