Ball Don't Lie - NBA

Ricky Rubio(notes) isn't even sure if he'll play in the NBA this season, but that hasn't stopped Gillette from slipping the Spaniard into their new spot called "The Moments" featuring Derek Jeter, Roger Federer and Tiger Woods.

Not bad, I guess. But The Hoop Doctors have a question that has to be asked: "Does the baby face Rubio even grow enough facial hair to shave yet?" Seriously. The kid makes me look like Paul freakin' Bunyan.

digg delicious

What does Ricky Rubio has anything to do with Confidence? He is not even confident enough to play with the big boys yet.
    Fail... LOL

thats funny. they had no real game footage of rubio because there isnt any that compares to tiger, jeter or federer. not to mention putting this guy's name in the mix with those guys is ridiculous. its beginning to make me think this guy has all the makings of a classic high draft pick bust. i know what gillete is doing, marketing to europeans. but this is really jumping the gun. you cant put a guy in the mix with the best golfer and tennis player in the world and a champion baseball player. he's never done anything except create a couple of nice youtube highlights.

Jeter, Woods, and Federer deserve to be in there. What's up with Rubio? I don't get the big deal about him. He can dribble a ball behind his back, So What?!?!?!? I can do that and I play soccer and swim!! He is not the next Nash either because Nash can shoot and make plays unlike Rubio who just makes plays. So my point is Rubio should not play in the NBA or any other big league in the world!!!

Premature much? Good lord....Tiger, Jeter, and Federer are three of the athletes who most justify the hype - and there aren't many.......and then perhaps an athlete about whom the actual accomplishment has least matched the hype.....geez. That money should have gone to maybe KG or Kobe or Tim Duncan.

Pretty sure Rudy Fernandez is in this. The one reaching into his suit pocket. If its not, looks like him...

no, idiot, that is not Rudy. That is the guy whom most of the commercial centers around. He is supposed to be you or me, but he is clearly superior to both of us put together. This is because he uses gillette.

Yep, and Rubio is eyeing a 12 year old girl for good measure. They don't have to shave either.
