Spot? Commercial? Movie? Honestly, I have no idea. Let's go with film. Anyway, like my blogging brethren, the good folks from adidas sent over this new Gilbert Arenas film, part of a four-part series featuring Dwight Howard, Tracy McGrady, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett coaching young ballers from the U.S. and China about "The Brotherhood". Because, as you know, it's all about "The Brotherhood".
Check out FanHouse for parts two and three featuring Superman, T-Mac and TD.

Call the commercial self serving, call it selfish publicity, but he doesn't HAVE to do what he does with the kids. He said it himself, the more creative you are the more creative your teammates will be. To hate on the fact that he took a bunch of kids from Washington to the Wizards facility to show them some basketball drills and take them to dinner is beyond stupid. He doesn't HAVE to do that. He does it because he's genuinely a good guy. He could film a weak commercial like other people do showing off his new shoe, or do something cool for kids who might not have a chance otherwise.
I hope he recovers quickly. I hope he gets back into the playoffs. I've got tickets Xmas day and I hope he there at the Q running his mouth. Of course when LeBron smacks Songaila, Butler, and Stevenson in the mouth before dropping a triple double on them, wiz fans will know real fast who the Chosen One is. That being said, I would love Gilbert Arenas on my team any day.
Fools.
