Too Much Rod Benson: The Rockumentary

Monday we head out to Boise, Idaho for the D-League Showcase, which might be the most important few days for a D-League player. Tons of scouts from the NBA and top overseas teams come out because every team in the league plays games in one gym. It makes it easier for them to come see us because they don't have to travel to0 hard to reach markets. This is the time to earn a call-up or get a phat contract overseas.

With the Showcase just around the corner, my teammates and I continue to lighten the mood. The best way we currently know how is to play Rock Band. Last time I wrote about my rock band, the Too Much Crew, I got a few emails from people asking me for video coverage of our band. I figured that this past week was as good as any to film the rockumentary of the Too Much Crew.

What you are about to see is everything you should look forward to in 2008 from our band. The heart, intensity and musicianship may overwhelm you:

So, since we do have the Showcase coming up, I plan on taking the week off from blogging and getting my focus on during this big week. I suggest you just enjoy and re-enjoy this video until the next TMRB comes out. Wish me luck in Boise.

    Rod,
You're getting some mention on the LA Times Lakers blog. There's talk that the Lakers need a fill-in
big since two of their three centers are out for awhile. Some people are hyping Chris Webber or PJ Brown,
but I told them to leave the seniors in retirement and call up a D-Leaguer like you or Lance Allred. Go
post there and stir things up. :-)
