Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: CelticsBlog. "I want my baby back baby back baby back ..."
PF
: The Blowtorch. Your typical ranch stash of Trey Kerby hilariousness with Shaq and Mike Brown.
SF
: Cleveland Frowns. A smart, nuanced take on the LeBron free agency issue that shouldn't be dismissed because it was written by a Clevelander.
SG
: Pitchfork. A basketball-themed review I don't care for about an album I don't care for, from a site that I don't care for.
PG
: Steady Burn. Vote for immunity for a Knicks City Dancer. Go ahead.
6th
: Basketball Prospectus. A ridiculously well-written breakdown of free agent small forwards.
7th
: Manolo's Shoe Blog. World's oldest basketball shoes. Smells like old people.
8th
: Feel the Paint. Dissecting the Birdman signing.
9th
: Fanhouse. The NBA's financial woes. Maybe a steam would help?
10th

Judging LeBron's behavior after the final loss and one has to wonder why people think he will stay in Cleveland if they don't make it to the finals. LeBron knows any team he is on can make it to the playoffs and steal a series or two. Why not tell Trevor he will sign a one year extension if he signs with Cavs? I mean he is going to stay...so why make them wait and wonder? Sorry LeApologists, last year and bye bye.

I do not like Lebron's personality at all. I thought he was more humble but the more you see him the more he is just too into himself. I do believe he will leave if Shaq cannot bring him one. Be hard to do it against Boston and Orlando.
I can see him trying to move with Wade or Bosh or whoever else.
Big baby is not needed in Boston since Wallace is there. A big with three-point range? Man, that is good enough. But he does bring youth to Boston and that IS something Boston needs.

I can't understand BDL hating on an MC who can name-check Udonis Haslem in a song and keep a straight face.

Those shoes are sweet. Somebody needs to replicate them.
I think Pitchfork is easier to stomach if you just look at what they recommend and ignore what they dislike. At the very least, their end of the year features are great.
Interesting to read about Artest's previous problems as well as his adjusted +/-.
