A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important
to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order
of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.
C: Forum
Blue and Gold. Loving life as a Laker fan, a tremendous read.
PF: Celtics
Blog. Dealing with life after your favorite team lost its fourth game in 33
tries.
SF: Desipio.com. Matt from
Desipio takes on this year's complicated All-Star rosters.
SG: The
Oregonian. Not sure if you've heard this one, but Rasheed Wallace isn't
always the most tactful guy on earth.
PG: ESPN.com.
Yes, there are centers, and they do walk among us. Some of them like to go by
the name "power forward."
6th: New
York Post. Jason Kidd's gonna have another kid.
7th: Newark
Star-Ledger. Dave D'Alessandro opens up the ole mailbag.
8th: Clipperblog.
If you missed last night's Magic/Clipper game like
we did, Kevin Arnovitz has some deciding plays for you.
9th: The
Oregonian. A source tells John Canzano that the Knicks are likely to trade
Zach Randolph to Milwaukee,
which makes zero sense, even for two teams that employ Larry Harris and Isiah
Thomas as General Managers. Milwaukee already
has two power forwards that score and don't defend, and who
exactly on Milwaukee's roster would the Knicks want to take back to match up Zach's
13.3 million dollar salary?
10th: Deseret Morning
News. We won't hear much (or anything, really) from Jerry Sloan on TNT tonight.
But you will hear from me. Once again, I'm not sure how we're going to pull it off, but I'll be liveblogging the TNT games tonight from about 8 p.m. Eastern until 1ish.
Don't monkey around, swing on by!

The Bucks currently have a duplication of forwards, which makes Villanueva and Simmons expendible. Of course, getting a PF and a SF back in this deal doesn't resolve that problem, although it's a talent upgrade. Milwaukee certainly don't need and shouldn't accept the other likely Knick throw-ins such as Robinson, Crawford or Q, even for a low-post stud such as Randolph.

you should have higher journalism ethics than to print this repeat of of Sheed snub of a kid. Reminds me of the stories of Shaq saying David Robinson snubbed him when he was a kid. all garbage. Sheed and most pro athletes do a lot of good community work. Portland has their team, they love them, life goes on.

He (Sheed) was always pretty nice in person when I was around him a few times as a kid. The Blazers clearly had character problems for awhile (Bonzi probably being the worst of them), but Canzano had a tendency to blow things out of proportion, and he tends to focus too much on judging the characters of players, for good or bad, and not enough on what actually happens on the court. Sometimes it reads as if he has a grudge against a lot of those guys, and clearly he was, during that time period, at war with the franchise himself.
Jason Quick, on the other hand, is as good as it gets.

Notice that the Zach Randolph to Milwaukee link above was also from Canzano....and was used as a forum to bash on Zach's friends.
