A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.
C: Agent Zero, via D.C. Sports Bog. Arenas drops some 2,000 mostly knee-related words on his blog.
PF: Daily News. Julius Hodge: "The Nets need a third point guard and I definitely think I can fill that spot." (Yes!)
SF: The Blowtorch. "Oopin' it up with the Lord." Wow. Just wow.
SG: Waiting For Next Year. Add Wade's name to the list of people that think LeBron's leaving Cleveland.
PG: Indy Cornrows. This title makes me happy: Bill Laimbeer and Larry Bird still don't like each other."
6th: NESW Sports. Watch MTV "Jackass'er" Wee Man pick up all 300-plus pounds of Shaq. He's a human ant!
7th: Pickaxe and Roll. Crystall ball question: Will the Denver Nuggets make the 2009 NBA Playoffs?
8th: Washington Wizards Blog. A little Q & A session with the Wizards "veteran" Nick Young.
9th: The Sporting Blog. Shoals lists five "pseudo-stars" that he thinks might take a step back this year.
10th: TrueHoop. Abbott with some sound knowledge for Michael Beasley: "At 19, youth, athleticism, and talent can overcome that lack of professionalism on and off the court. But as so many mega-talents of the past have found, that won't last forever. Some growing up must occur. The right mentors have to be found and listened to."
OK, that's all for me today, folks — I need to catch a flight. I'm off to the BlogWorld Expo in Las Vegas for the next two days. (No, I still can't say that with a straight face.) Apparently, I'll be sitting in on two sports blogging panels sponsored by the good folks at Yardbarker, so if you're in the area, stop by or fire me an e-mail. And hey, if I don't make it back by Monday, I want all of you to have my Sega Genesis system.
