Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: Deadspin. Diagramming Sarah Palin's recent political "move."
PF: The Blowtorch. Wondering if Tyler Hansbrough(notes) has days to live beyond his summer league debut.
SF: Twolves Blog. David Kahn bought "two beers at last call instead of one." Are you allowed to do that?
SG: HoopsAnalyst. Transactions, transactions, trans-action!
PG: Truth About It. A damn good breakdown of potential Wizards.
6th: The Good Point. Austin Kent puts together a fabulous list of blogger memories of 2008-09, something I would have contributed to were I not an idiot with my email.
7th: B-R.com Blog. Dissecting Ron Artest(notes) in Los Angeles. Smartly dissecting it.
8th: Knickerblogger.net. Nate Robinson(notes) gets an "A" for "adorable" from me, not from Mike K.
9th: NBA Fanhouse. I'm telling you, Ziller has a future documenting schvitz kibitzing.
10th: Detroit Bad Boys. Does Deron Washington(notes) have a guaranteed deal?

I personally think she probably will not run for 2012, either that or the news media really pounded her hard and she is giving up. On the one hand, the media portrayal of her was negative, but then again, it was all based on her actions so she cannot blame the media for that. As for presidency, and a report that claimed she wanted to return the U.S. to old conservative values, and be a messiah to conservatives, I still do not think she has the intelligence to do so, even to mess it up. John McCain and her campaign only made it a landslide for Obama, if not the 8 bad years of Bush did.
As for the basketball analogy, ugh. It seems to point more to the media again being on her than it does of her having to represent the Conservatives and if such is a full court press, she then practically threw the ball OUT OF BOUNDS by throwing away her obligation as governor. Her ratings were pretty high before the elections. The nation is more like running a zone than a full-court press.

Sarah Palin is to politics as Isaiah Thomas is to coaching, team management, and class.
She's another pop culture icon that has had their 15 minutes of fame and can go away now.

Allen - I wish. But people love the woman. I still cannot believe I know people who ACTUALLY want to vote for her.

Nalin Palin is a classic Larry Flynt flick.
And if I knew people who wanted to vote for some burnt out MILF still breeding at 45, and approving of her 17 yr old having kids, then I would put a distance between them quickly.
I am not some moralist, but this culture and their pop/rock icons are amazing.
I was sitting around with my kids the other day talking about the greats of their generation.
It left my 18 shaking here head when she realized the names of her generation compared to those of mine and others.
Go away Sarah, your 15 minutes are up.

Much like she and her family did through her campaign.
And is that Todd and his body double standing behind them?

rich but never famous. She said yes to McCain. She showed how stupid she is because they rip everyone to shreds. the last thing; I'd ever want is to be famous. she was fool enough to think she could pull it off without being articulate or educated. I enjoyed ripping her from first contact. It was fun. But this ill conceived nano-second in American politics is over. what will Tina Fey do now?

The whole sad part with Sarah is that since Hillary lost her bid, the Republicans thought finding a woman to run with was the thing to do.
They thought the woman vote was there for the taking.
And by rolling out what most consider eye candy as the Vice Presidential candidate, they looked to steal some of the man vote or the horny 18-22 year old with MILF fantasies voters.
Little did they know how truly sad Sarah was in her thinking and speech giving.
And as much as people dislike Hillary, she is an intelligent, strong woman, who put up with a lot of abuse from critics.
Not to mention living through the fiasco that was her husband's affairs.
Imagine if Hillary and Sarah would have squared off against each other.
It would have been compared to the Kennedy-Nixon debates (just in case you don't know, it's the one when Nixon refused make up and looked oh so tired next to a young go getting Kennedy)
Maybe Tina Fey will run for governor of Alaska, and Sarah will take over on Saturday Night Live.

#12 - now Bristol is the queen of abstinence.
    # 14 - I think the whole hot VP would have worked had McCain been younger and Palin not spoke a word. It was really how inferiorly intelligent she is that took me by surprise. And what was most annoying was how she never answered a question straight. Now,. Obama does that too, but Palin did it too many times for me that she became down right aggravating to listen to in general. I would rather listen to loose lips Biden.

Palin not speaking or saying something intelligent would be like the Bulls pulling a great off season move or at least getting something for a semi-star caliber player before he leaves.

There's #18 & #19 as to reasons of why America is what it is today.
I love the MILF and 3 way fantasies brought about by the internet porn sites and reality television.
Word to the wise about MILF fantasies, go look at your mom and wonder if you would "hit that" or wonder how you would feel if your friend was "hitting her".
It's about the same equivalent with the age thing.
If you cringe and beat your head against the wall to get the image out, good for you.
If you say "sure no big deal", kindly move to the trailer park (if you are not already there) and raise another littler of welfare supported, illiterate, morons to make America a third world country.

As a conservative, I supported Palin as a VP yet I don't think she has as much experience as Obama has when it comes to national politics. Though she's a conservative, should she run, she could reck the party and cause a divide that could have all but Utah and Alaska vote for Obama. She doesn't have my vote when she is the Republican Nominee. I'd love somebody like Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, or Bobby Jindal to take out Obama out of office.

#22 - Did you see that stupid commercial Jindal did? That is why he was once held as the next possible leader of the Rep. party, then quickly rejected. Mitt? Please. Ron Paul? Please, he is an underdog and any underdog can elevate himself by talking about what the bigger politicians need to do. That is like how Jessie Ventura got so popular during the waterboarding issue. He just said what everyone wanted to say.
Right now, the Rep. party do not have any likable candidate.
