Ball Don't Lie - NBA

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: 48 Minutes of Hell and FanHouse. Two excellent game recaps of the Argentina-Greece quarterfinal.
PF: Hardwood Paroxysm. A brief interview with Greg "The Big Chill" Oden. (He doesn't like the nickname.)
SF: USA Today, via Blazers Blog. Chris Colston slots Portland at No. 5 in his preseason NBA power rankings. (!)
SG: The Sporting Blog. Speaking of the Blazers, this newlywed couple disagrees with Colston's ranking. Too low.
PG: 3 Shades of Blue. NBA Science 101: Chemistry vs. Biology. Don't forget your notebooks.
6th: TalkHoops.net. Stern wants to set up shop in China? Well, let's make that NBA World Champ a reality.
7th: Supersonicsoul. PN: "Acquiring Ridnour for his defense is a bit like buying a Hummer for its gas mileage ..."
8th: WaitingForNextYear. A breakdown of the Knicks and Cavs trade rumors from a few days ago.
9th: New York Post. Danilo Gallinari's back injury could be more serious than first expected.
10th: Indy Cornrows. After reading Jermaine O'Neal's comments to SI.com, Cornrows couldn't help but notice how similar the tone was to comments JO made last August.

Well, the Aussies did not wipe the smiles off the USA faces like they said they would. Maybe next time they will play the game first then talk trash. GO USA!!!!

I'm reveling in all the Blazer love lately. Hopefully their play this year can live up to the hype.
